I found Dr. Deb while searching for a therapist with a holistic treatment aspect. When I started seeing Dr. Deb, I was taking antidepressants and sleeping medicines. After a few months, I was off all prescription medicines, sleeping well and feeling much better. Dr Deb has also helped me in our sessions to recognize my strengths and increase my confidence. I plan to continue my journey with Dr Deb to find the peaceful existence that I am searching for.

Taurine is an amino acid that is vital for stabilizing heart beat and correcting cardiac arrhythmias. Supplement 1,000 mg per day, and take it with 50 mg vitamin B6 and 100 mg Vitamin C for better absorption. High alcohol consumption can cause over-excretion of taurine, so keep alcohol at no more than two drinks per day. Eggs, fish, meat and milk are good sources of taurine.
Use reishi mushrooms, celery and garlic liberally in salads and other dishes to stabilize heart beat.
As a general heart tonic, use plenty of omega-3 oils. These are found in deep sea cold water fish (salmon, tuna, sardines, anchovies), and in flax seeds. Two grams of fish oil (purified to remove mercury) or two heaping tablespoons of ground flax seed per day protects the heart. Three servings of cold water fish per week is also heart protective.
The following herbs have been found to contain important anti-arrhythmia compounds: goldenseal, Oregon grape, barberry, astragalus, Scotch broom, and valerian root. Valerian is a very strong sedative, so use only at night as it will induce sleep.
